With a 5th degree black belt in Judo and training in other martial arts, Tawni has always had a keen interest in sports medicine and alternative modalities for treating injuries and easing life's aches and pains. She is a master level Reiki practitioner with training in Kinaesthetics, massage, T-Touch, and other healing methods. In training, she is a graduate of the Force Free Method of Dog Training, the E-Touch Method of Dog Training and a variety of other behavior modification and training techniques for dogs, learning how to use a large variety of equipment including clickers, slip collars, prong collars, ecollars, harnesses, and many others. Helping dogs reach their full potential and learn to adjust to living in the human-oriented world is a primary goal. Tawni has an AA degree in Psychology and has taught judo, dance and basic tumbling and trained horses and dogs for many years. Tawni helps out with several rescue groups in the Phoenix, AZ area including New Hope Cattle Dogs, Rescue & Rehoming, Inc., Saguaro State Poodle Rescue, AZ Animal Rescue, Akita Advocates and others by donating her time and services or reducing her fees.
